Strategic Plan
Chapter 1
Goal: Recruitment Development and Compensation of Trinity Staculty
Rationale: In order to continue to maintain a culture that fulfills Trinity’s mission, the school needs to continue to hire faculty and staff (staculty) who will live out the mission. These staculty deserve to be surrounded by mission aligned peers, need room to grow and should be competitively compensated for all of their work and commitment.
Action Items:
Develop a dashboard of peer groups and points of comparison for faculty, staff and senior administrators.
Continue to invest in innovative professional learning and growth opportunities for the staculty.
Improve compensation and benefits in support of the effort to recruit, hire, develop, and retain a talented and diverse faculty, staff and senior administration.
Chapter 2
Goal: Enhance the Academic Experience
Rationale: Trinity has a solid foundation in its problem-based learning to creating scholars. As we look to the future, Trinity will need to continue to explore new approaches and best practices in education to create scholars who are able to adapt and thrive in an ever changing world.
Action Items:
Assess the effectiveness and impact of our academic program at all grade levels in order to foster learning experiences that enhance collaboration, innovation, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Create and expand additional academic leadership and learning support roles which are aligned with our mission to challenge students to academic excellence while honoring their unique potentials.
Prepare students to thrive in an ever-changing technological world by providing the necessary infrastructure and tools to enhance learning experiences.
Chapter 3
Goal: Cultivate a Community of Equity and Belonging for All
Rationale: Two of the founding core values of Trinity are embracing diversity and nurturing spirituality. Trinity is committed to living these out by creating a school community that is truly welcoming and inclusive to all of our families.
Action Items:
Analyze results of the 2021 equity audit to help inform short-term, mid-term, and long term strategic goals and action items focused on improving our policies, practices, programs, and people as they relate to the embracing diversity core value.
Broaden our efforts to create a diverse community that is welcoming and inclusive in order to ensure that every student is cared for, cared about, celebrated, and affirmed as a child of God.
Develop and implement a multi-year diversity recruitment plan that will expand the pool of student and staculty applicants in keeping with our desire to create a community that reflects the rich diversity of the Charlotte community.
Chapter 4
Goal: Expand Trinity’s Reach and Impact
Rationale: Trinity is a school that has a unique approach. Trinity values a constructivist education, service learning, embracing diversity, and our Episcopal Identity. As the city grows, the school would like to grow with it and explore ways to bring our approach to the Charlotte community.
Action Items:
Investigate the benefit and feasibility of increasing the number of students the school serves, while maintaining a small student to teacher ratio.
Explore opportunities to acquire real estate assets proximate to Trinity Episcopal School.
Explore and revisit the idea of TES as a “Demonstration School” program.
Our Strategic Plan
Non-Negotiables
